Through a simple and easy to use online portal, you will be able to easily view all the webinars on any device and download the weekly practices, processes, and journal exercises.
To Prepare:
Have a space available for yoga mat, cozy props, and/or chair.
Have a nice journal at the ready for this sacred container.
Modifications for body abilities will be offered and demonstrated.
Minimal art supplies needed for creativity and journal exercises.
Art supply suggestions: pen and paper, pencils, markers, simple paint sets - watercolor and acrylic, and some watercolor paper.
You can improvise and use whatever materials you have on hand.
Recommended time to engage with the journey:
2 hours per week, or more if desired.
Can be done in chunks of time if needed.

What is Yoga Therapy?
The process of connecting body, mind, and spirit for the benefit of one's mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well being. By supporting one's personal well being, a ripple effect is created thereby benefiting all beings. Rachel has extensive training and experience in her personal spiritual practice as a yogi, and with trauma-informed yoga and counseling. Her clients and students have experienced profound self healing and development over the course of 11 years that she has been teaching yoga and facilitating energy healing for others. What is Energy Medicine?
Known as vibrational medicine, bioenergy, reiki, qi gong, sound healing, and more, energy healing is a way to tap into the body's natural healing ability to repair and restore equilibrium. The human body's energy system is connected with the field of consciousness and energy of the planet, solar system, universe, and all of existence. By using mental focus, specific movements, sounds, and breathing exercises, we can harness the life force energy within and all around us to activate the body's innate processes of restoration. More will be covered in this course, including research resources and more to help you tap into this profound wisdom more deeply.
Is this a certification training?
No. However, you will learn invaluable tools and processes for working with the healing arts of mindfulness, reiki, yoga, qi gong, breathwork, gentle movement, and creative expression. Further mentoring and training is available to those who wish to train with Rachel privately or in groups.
Do I have to have any yoga or meditation experience to do this program?
No. Anyone can do this. It is for all levels of experience, beginner to advanced.
Do I have to have any art making experience to feel successful with this process?
No. The art making exercises are process-focused, meaning the emphasis is on the cathartic and therapeutic benefit you get from the creation process itself rather than on achieving a specific outcome or learning a technique. Although you might surprise yourself and create some beautiful works that inspire you!
What if I am not physically fit or flexible?
You do not need to be flexible or particularly fit to practice yoga. All you need is willingness to breathe and do the best you can. Rachel will provide modifications to postures and movements so that your body will find its way to do the movements in the way that feels good to you.
*The mindfulness-based practices in this program are shown to have great benefit in the areas of anxiety and depression relief, pain relief, relief from complex grief, and many more health benefits including cardiovascular and respiratory health.
